I'd say just pin some of it back off your face, but keep it pretty and soft. Ask your hair stylist for any ideas and don't wait until the day of the wedding to have them try playing with your hair. Go in before then for a trial run so they can do it, you can see how it looks and feels, and you'll know by the end of the day if it's really something you like. If you wait until the day of, you may be disappointed and that's no time for mistakes like that.

I do not know the correct name for it, but you can make a web on your head. make 6-8 small pony tails on the front of your head, and then branch them off until about mid way back and bring them together into one pony tail. Its real cute, and the mmore formal look is to make each pony tail into a topsie tail. And then add waves with a curling iron to whatever hair is left. Its time consuming, but it looks really good with short hair!

tell her you want twist from your hair line back all the way around your head and you want them to be about an inch long ( you want the twist that look like cornrows not free hanging twist ) and have her secure them with either jeweled or rinestone bobby pins - it will give your short hair and up do and be very very classy - then you or have the stylist curl the ends of your hair - similar to haveing your hair stacked - but you just want the curl not the pick out and stack - you can probally get this done or have someone you know do it your self for around $30 easy to maintain so it can be done the day before - and if wanted it can last a few days after depending on how you wash your hair -
