Hair to short?

I had my hair cut yesterday but its been cut so short that its all over the place sticking out and wavy, it never normally is! Why is this? Its never happened when ive had my hair cut before, is it because I went to a walk in hairdressers?Is there anything i can do?

as an experienced salon owner I think you might have a point regarding the walk in salon, without seeing a picture of the finished style its hard to say, was it scissor cut, clipper cut, razor cut, however you should not be experiencing the problems you have the next day, sounds like it was textured cut, and the cut was against the hair, if I was you I would certainly be back to complain, tell me more about how it was cut, and why was it cut so short was it because the stylist could not get it right, or was it what you asked for ???

You're just going to have to use products to smooth and straighten your hair. If your hair was really long before it may be wavy now because there's not as much weight, so it curls instead of laying straight. It really has nothing to do with the fact that you went to a walk-in hairstylist. The same thing probably would have happened if you went to an expensive salon.

Get the straighteners out, keep out of the rain and let it grow. All will work eventually!

Wear a hat or it will have to grow or have a number 1 all over, use gel, just be patient it will settle down in about 2 weeks time.

I cut my hair quite short and it went all wavy to. I was surprised because my hair doesn't ususlly do that. Until i started blow drying and straightening. Now i love it! If u do start drying and straightening get a good shampoo and conditioner, beacuse all that drying and straightening drys your hair out bad! (Well it did for mine!) I recommend 'advanced techniques' straight and sleek shampoo and conditioner. Hair serum and things like that are ok but not as good as they are made out to be.
