How can I get an emo hair cut with my hair being right above my eyebrow?

I used to have "real" emo hair but I cut it at the beginning of the year.

I might just have to wait for it to grow out again :/

But I'd try just wearing it an a messy "I just woke up" style until it grows back.

And I don't know if you use anything, but the bed head hair stuff works really well for the messy look.

When I was younger I cut my hair (that was a little past my lower back) right at my shoulders. I regretted it so bad, but hey the Spice girls were the shxt and I loved Posh Spice. LOL *blushes* And then they faded a year later and I was left with hair that was nowhere near my lower back.

Of course you're cutting your hair because you want to but in my opinion don't go too short. Do a Jordana Brewster kinda cut. With long layers. It will look so beautiful straighten, if you straighten your hair.

Don't listen to anyone that says girls should have long hair, that's such a cave-man attitude, if you want it shorter then go for it, it's easier to take care of. I recently got my hair cut in short layers kind of like Katie Holmes' hair (see picture below) You can have the ends flip out a little more and it looks cute under a hat. And I would advise getting side bangs; they look super cute. :]

WOW. if you can go drastic then you are braver than I am! All my life (well, most of it... except for that time my mom gave me a mullet and i was mortified for almost a year) I've had long hair. And i LOVE my long hair! My junior year in highschool i cut it to my shoulders and freaked. Now that I look back at pictures it was shorter than i even remember it being at the time! I just love long hair and all that you can do with it, but hey... if you are tired of it and want to try something different, then go for it! Just PREPARE yourself! It will definitely be something different. And, we are only on this earth for a short period of time, so go for it! You may even like it better! Always know though, if you don't like it, it will always grow back or you could always get a wig until it does! :o) (Just don't buy a wig from the same place as Britney Spears) You DO want it to look nice. :o) ... P.S. - seriously though, you may want to go into it step by step... a little this month,... a little more next month... or just do it all at once! My sister has a fun pixie kine of old style Meg Ryan bob and it's adorable. She's always finding cute, new barrettes to put in it. I am jealous of that b/c she can just grab a barrette and stick it anywhere in her hair and it looks amazing. I have to take a clump of mine, twist it together, stick the barrette in there and then it slides right on out b/c my hair is so straight and fine. There's good and bad to both short and long!
